Another Big Green Egg Question
Still haven’t used the Big Green Egg yet. I have the large version. I am going to make my first loaf of bread in the oven, but am not sure, yet, whether I will bake in a dutch oven, pan or what. I don’t have a baking stone for the Big Green Egg, only for my home oven and the stone won’t fit the egg..
My question is, from reading the manual it says not to use the oven over 360 degrees for the first 2 or 3 cooks. So, I have no idea how long to keep the bread in the egg at that temperature since I don’t bake in my oven at that low temp. I’ll be making a batch of dough that I can make two loaves. Any ideas? Normally in my oven, I bake at a high temperature at least 450 for 35 minutes and the internal temperature is always at least 205F
