Bread #63: Cornmeal/white good for sandwiches
Bread #63 combined cornmeal with white bread flour for a satisfactory sandwich bread made in a loaf pan. Personally, I found the taste not as interesting as experiments with other whole grains and with greater percentages of non-white ingredients. Still, if you have white-bread-loving kids in the house, this one is at least homemade, sans preservatives, and with natural yeast.
Yes, this post is out of order. Actually forgot I had not finished writing about this one. About to write up bread #66, which is amazing and quite interesting (flaxseed, arrowroot, etc.).
