Hello everyone. I must say I’m very happy to have found this site. Cannot tell you all how happy I am to have found you. Always had the dream of quitting my day job and working in a bakery making bread. Since that cannot be accomplished at this time, I did the next best thing and found you all.
Still very much in the beginning phases of this journey, but I did try a No-Knead Bread for dinner Monday night (and used my new pumpkin plate) and was so fricking excited how well it turned out, I’m ready to start learning and trying new breads. I’ve attached a picture, and sorry I didn’t take a picture of the inside of the bread. The outside was so nice and crisp and the inside was great but didn’t have the “open crumb” (So glad there is a word for it after browsing this site)
But it tasted amazing and was a hit.
Oh, and any other TFL bakers in Northern California?
