ISO an Ankarsrum or Electrolux

Currently visiting new friends in Sweden. In advance of our trip I dry some of my starter per instructions on the KAF website, to share with our hosts. Figured the TSA would look more kindly on dry rather than liquid starter.

I offer to bake some bread–Nury’s Light Rye from Leader’s book–for Friday’s Midsommer party.  Rehydrate the starter and feed it good Swedish water and white and rye flours.  The starter responds excitedly. Autolyse the flour and then I ask our host if they have a mixer.  He pulls an Electrolux Assistent out of a cabinet. Hubby and I are agog.  Fourteen minutes at medium speed later, we decide I need one.

So…anyone looking to sell?
